Asana: Sea Lion
Brief alignment: Start from a reclining spinal bound twist. As you twist the right leg over the left clasp the right foot with the left hand. Bend your left knee and clasp it with your right hand. Roll onto the belly over your left shoulder. Lift your head, neck and chest as you bend both elbows, and arch back.
Benefits: Stretches the hamstrings, upper & lower back
Contraindications: Hamstring, shoulder & elbow injury
